At Allendale Village Hall, NE47 9PR.

Registration times are from 7am-8am for walkers and 9am-10am for runners.

Your signed kit list declaration (which will be sent to you via email) along with your medical conditions declaration if applicable.

The event starts at 08:00 hrs for walkers (no walkers will be allowed to start after 09:30 hrs) and 10:00 hrs for runners (no runners will be allowed to start after 10:30 hrs).

Parking will be in designated car parks and our team members and volunteers will direct you to where you can park. Please consider the residents of Allendale and do not park on the road sides. Please also car share where possible.

Well behaved dogs are allowed for walkers and must be kept on a lead at all times.

There are refreshments available at certain checkpoints on the route. Refreshments include water, squash, tea, soup and biscuits. Please note, not all may be available at all checkpoints.

The team are keen to reduce the amount of waste produced at the event, so please remember to bring your own re-usable cup.

The famous pie and peas are available at the finish!

It's 26 miles, and covers various terrain from roads, moorland and bogs to stony tracks.

If you feel unable to continue, please speak to a team member at one of the checkpoints. Certain checkpoints are easier to drop out of than others, depending on the road access. Please speak to a team member as soon as you feel you you may need to drop out, or that it may become a possibility.

The route isn’t marked out, so we advise that you can use a map and compass/GPS device as participants can become spread out and visibility might be poor on the day.
